Foldic is a Mac application that exports albums from your Apple Photos library to folders you choose. It is designed so that your data never leaves your control.
Foldic collects no data. Period.
Foldic accesses your photo library only through Apple's PhotoKit framework, after you grant permission in macOS. Photos and videos are copied only to the destination folder you explicitly select. They are never transmitted anywhere.
The only network activity Foldic performs is initiated by macOS itself: when a photo's original file is stored in iCloud, Foldic asks PhotoKit to download it, and macOS communicates directly with Apple's iCloud service using your system's iCloud session. Foldic does not talk to any other service.
Foldic stores its settings (such as which albums are paused and your chosen destination folder) locally on your Mac, inside the app's sandbox container. Deleting the app removes them.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at foldic.app/privacy with a new "last updated" date.
